We're BACK!!! Annie's in charge now.

We're back, after a year's absence. The only excuses we have is that Mark ran out of time to update the blog, or just forgot about it, and found other things more important, like spending time with the family. And I, Annie, didn't know how to blog, and didn't have the desire or time to learn how to. But things have changed! I've looked at so many of your blogs which are so cute and informative, that I decided that I just had to get in on it. So, be patient with me as I learn how to do this. Thanks, in advance. Annie
So here is a glimpse of the last month, in photos.

No wonder she is daddy's girl.

I promised my mom I was going to write about my new favorite thing in the whole world.

It all started about a month ago.

In the morning when I get ready for work I always try to be so quiet. Annalee is usually already up as well getting ready for work about the same time, but both of us want Karlee to stay asleep as long as possible before we have to wake her up to get ready for daycare. Not always does she stay asleep, but anyway back to the story. As I walk down the stairs from our bedroom Karlee's room is right there. I try to tip toe if she is asleep, but it never fails as I hit the next set of stairs I hear "Good Morning Dad (if she is still in bed) where are you going"? She still asks me where I am going even if she is up. I tell her that daddy has to go to work. She then always answers in the wonderful 3 year old question. WHY? I then explain that I have to. She then will usually ask me for loves. I will give her a hug and kiss and tell her to have a good day. She then tells me to have a good day to. I tell her how much I love her and tell her to have fun with her mom or her friends depending on the day. She then says okay.

I then walk out to my car and start my vehicle, I put it in reverse just to hear Bye Daddy! How I love to hear those words. She is usually standing at the door waving good bye sometimes in her PJ's and sometimes she is dressed. I roll down my window and tell her bye again. I then tell her to go inside. As I pull out of the driveway I watch her. When I get to the end of the driveway and ready to pull away she runs out the door again and comes to the end of the garage and yells Bye Daddy! I again waive to her and pull away. When I get to the end of the street I stop and listen. She is now standing at the end of the driveway yelling at the top of her lungs Bye Bye Daddy! I put my hand out the window and waive at her just to see her blow me a kiss.

That is why she is my little girl. Everyday she cheers me up when I go to work. I have now actually come to expect it and feel bad when it doesn't happen. On my way to work I can't help to think of my wonderful family and how blessed I am. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that has blessed me with a great family and for a wonderful happy daughter. I love my little girl so much, at times I don't know how I am going to love another little girl just as much as I love Karlee. She is my light and my life. She teaches me everyday how important it is to be a worthy father. I know I will feel the same way about the next girl and will probable have my feelings double. I now have a little glimpse of the love our heavenly father has for each of us. I am so proud to be a dad. And am grateful for the opportunity to raise and care for her.

Karlee and the donut eating contest

This was also at the Bell's party the Friday before Halloween.

Karlee said heck with trying to eat this stupid thing without hands, I'm hungry and am just going to eat it. Way to go Karlee

Karlee Bobbing for Apples

This is from our Halloween party with the Bell's. Karlee was the first one in I think. She had to show everyone else how to do it. As you can see she cheated and bit the stem. Smart girl huh?

Okay, Okay I have heard from a few people saying I need to update my blog. I guess I will try. I've been trying to get AnnaLee to do it, but she uses the excuse she doesn't have time. I think she has more than myself, but none the less here I am trying to do it.

Not to much has been going on in our lives out of the ordinary, just trying to get ready for this upcoming holiday season. Halloween was fun. Karlee really enjoyed being dressed up. She was Belle this Halloween. She still puts on her dress and says that she is beautiful. I'm a little predudice, but happen to agree with her. For the first time in 20 years I dressed up as well. I decided to dress up as Zorro. I was begining to wonder if it was all worth the hassle to dress up. I looked all over for a hat for my big head and after about 6 stores found one. Thanks to my mom I also had a shirt. Thank you mom!!! The evening turned out wonderful. We went with Karlee's freind Brin Trick or Treating. This year she understood it more and had a great time. She was just so shy that I had to yell Trick or Treat for her. AnnaLee decided to be a pregnant lady for halloween. Boring I know, I guess when you really are pregnant though it is a little hard to find a costume. Here are a couple pics of our wonderful night.

Scary Monkeys loose in the Haws home.

When I got home from work Karlee put this on and met me in the closet as I was changing roaring like a lion. I started to laugh so hard. She kept telling me that it was a scary monkey, so I played along running around laughing hysterically. She now wears this and a dinosaur mask so scare me. Isn't she just the cutest monkey you have ever seen. Thank so her daycare Michelle for not only providing us with darecare, but entertainment throughout the night.

Driving like her mom

As we were leaving the park, Karlee saw this ride and had to do it. She was really cute, but couldn't always figure out how to drive it. She was always looking around her at other kids and laughing. Never paying attention to what she it doing, sound like daughter like mother to me.
We talked her into going on the boat ride. She kicked the poor girl in front of her out of the blue one, because she had to have the "Cinderlla One" all by herself.
Just another cute picture of Karlee and her mom.
First train ride. Karlee was very excited. Annie was too because I wouldn't let her ride any other rides, because she is pregnant.
Karlee's first Merry go Round. She wanted the brown "Bell" horse, but someone else got to it first. She settled for the white one.
